- 1/2 c. chopped green onion
- 1/2 c. chopped white onion
- 1 large green pepper, cut up in strips
- 1/2 c. chopped celery with a few leaves
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 pkg. Butter Buds
- 1/2 to 1 lb. raw shrimp, peeled and cleaned
- 2 doz. raw oysters (about 1 c.) or 1 c. cooked ham
- 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne
- 1 c. raw rice
Directions

1In a large pan, saute onion, green pepper, celery and garlic in the butter until tender but not browned.

2Add shrimp and oysters; cook for 5 minutes.

3(If ham is used instead of oysters, add the ham when rice is added.)

4Add the tomatoes, chicken broth, salt, cayenne and rice; stir and cover.

5Cook for 25 to 30 minutes over low heat, or until rice is done.

6If mixture becomes too dry, add tomato juice.

7Taste for seasonings.
