  • 12 oz. dried lentils (do not soak)
  • 1 1/2 c. celery
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. Louisiana hot sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. dried parsley
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes

Directions

    In a saucepan, place lentils with enough water to cover, plus 1 cup.

    Add raw celery.

    Add chicken bouillon cubes and bring to a boil.

    Add hot sauce, salt, pepper and parsley.

    Cook 10 minutes or until firm.

    Do not overcook! Add water if needed.
