  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 c. chopped raisins
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

    Sift dry ingredients; add alternately with buttermilk to creamed mixture.
