  • 1 lb butter, softened
  • 1 lb confectioners' sugar (10x)
  • 1 12 flour, all purpose
  • 1 lb walnuts, ground
  • 4 egg yolks, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon clove, ground
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg, ground
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 fluid ounce whiskey (optional)

Directions

    Cream together Butter and Sugar.

    Mix in the other ingredients until a tender dough is formed.

    Coat the cookie mold with granulated sugar (this helps release dough from the mold).

    Tap out the cookie and place on a cookie sheet.

    If dough is too soft, chill it for about 30 minutes then try to mold these again.

    Bake at 375 degrees F for about 15 minutes.
