Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 pkg. small lemon Jell-O
  • 8 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese (soft)
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 9 oz. Cool Whip or 2 pkg. dessert whip

Directions

    Grease 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Press mixture firmly into pan and bake 10 to 15 minutes until brown at 375°.

    Cool.

    Mix Jell-O with boiling water and cool.

    Take cream cheese and sugar and cream together.

    Add Cool Whip or dessert whip and mix into cheese mixture.

    Refrigerate 1 hour.

    Pour cooled Jell-O over cheese mixture.
