- 2 sticks margarine
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. molasses
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. quick oats
- 1 1/3 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 can flaked coconut (3 1/2 oz.)
- jelly
Directions

1Beat margarine until soft.

2Gradually add brown sugar; continue beating until well blended.

3Blend in egg, molasses and vanilla.

4Add oats, flour and coconut, mix well.

5Shape dough into 1-inch balls.

6Place on cookie sheet.

7Indent tops of cookies with floured finger.

8Fill indentation with jelly.

9Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
