- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. sifted flour
- 3/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

1Beat eggs in mixing bowl.

2Gradually add sugar, beating until mixture is thick.

3Sift dry ingredients together; fold into egg mixture.

4Turn onto shallow pan lined with waxed paper.

5Use a 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan.

6Bake for approximately 13 minutes at 425°. Cut edges off cake; turn onto a clean cloth.

7Remove waxed paper. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

8Spread cake with jelly or other fillings.

9Starting with small end, roll cake; wrap in clean towel and let cool.
