- 4 eggs
- 1/4 to 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. milk
Directions

1Beat eggs slightly; beat in remaining ingredients.

2Pour in 6 to 8 thin custard cups.

3Place cups in a saucepan or deep frying pan with tight fitting lid.

4Pour tap water in pan.

5Water should be level with custards.

6Bring water to full boil; immediately turn off heat and cover pan.

7Let custards stand, covered, 6 minutes or until knife inserted in center of custard comes out clean.

8Remove cup from water.

9Cool and chill.
