- 6 oz. uncooked elbow macaroni
- 1/2 lb. extra lean ground beef
- 1/2 green pepper, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
- 2 oz. low-fat Cheddar cheese (cut into pieces)
- 1/2 tsp. chopped garlic
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 (4 oz.) can chopped mushrooms, drained
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain.

3Spray skillet with a non-stick coating.

4Add ground beef, green pepper and onion.

5Saute until tender.

6Add remaining ingredients including macaroni.

7Pour into a casserole dish that has been sprayed with non-stick coating.

8Bake, covered, for 35 to 40 minutes.
