- 8 c. squash, sliced thin
- 2 c. onions, sliced thin
- salt
- 2 c. vinegar
- 4 green peppers, chopped well
- 2 tsp. celery seed
- 2 tsp. mustard seed
- 3 c. sugar
- dill (if desired)
Directions

1Put squash and onions together and salt; set aside 1 hour. Drain well.

2Mix vinegar, sugar, celery seed, mustard seed and pepper; bring to a good boil.

3Add squash and onions; let it come to a boil.

4Put in pint jars and seal.
