- 2 sticks butter
- 1/2 c. Crisco shortening
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 c. plain flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. lemon extract
Directions

1Cream together the butter and Crisco.

2Add sugar, 1 cup at a time, beating well.

3Add eggs, one at a time, beating until yellow has disappeared.

4Next, add flour, 1 cup at a time, alternating with milk.

5Last, add vanilla and lemon extracts.

6Pour into greased and floured tube pan.

7Bake in preheated oven at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

8Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then on wire rack.
