  • 3 c. sugar
  • 2 oz. (12 Tbsp.) instant coffee (decaffeinated may be used too)
  • 1 qt. vodka (or 4 c.)
  • 2 Tbsp. vanilla

    In heavy Dutch kettle, bring water, sugar and coffee to boil. Simmer 1 hour and cool.

    Add vodka and vanilla.
