Ingredients

  • 1 bunch Kale
  • 2 Tablespoons Walnuts
  • 3 Tablespoons Almonds
  • 2 whole Garlic Cloves
  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1/8 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoons Pepper
  • 5 Tablespoons Nutritional Yeast
  • 2 Tablespoons Or More Cooking Water From The Kale, As Needed

Directions

    In a large pot, bring 1 1/2 cups water to a boil. Add in torn, de-stemmed kale and cover for about 4-5 minutes. Kale should be wilted but still bright green. Drain liquid into a bowl and reserve.

    In a food processor, process nuts and garlic until fine. Add in kale and process until combined. Scrape the bowl as necessary.

    Add in the olive oil, salt and pepper. Process again. Add in nutritional yeast and cooking water. Process again, scraping when necessary, until desired consistency is reached. Add in more cooking water, a little at a time, if desired.
