  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. Karo syrup (blue label)
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 c. pecans

    Combine ingredients, adding pecans last.

    Pour into unbaked pastry shell.

    Bake in hot oven at 400° for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350° and bake 30 to 35 minutes longer or until a silver knife inserted in center of filling comes out clean.
