- 1 lb ground lamb or 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small red peppers or 1 small green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 large tomatoes, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons cilantro leaves, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
Directions

1Place all ingredients in food processor and process 1 to 2 minutes until dough-like consistency.

2Form into patties about 1/2-inch thick.

3Place patties in greased baking sheet. (If mixture is too soft, spoon on to sheet with large spoon or by heaping tablespoons, then form into patties.) Bake in preheated 350F oven 1 hour or until tops turn golden brown.**Alternatively, may be pan fried or barbecued**.
