- 2 lb. lean stew beef
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 pkg. dry onion soup mix
- 1 1/2 c. red wine (optional)
- 3/4 lb. or 1 can mushrooms
Directions

1Cut beef into 1-inch cubes.

2Place in casserole.

3Add pepper. Pour mushroom soup over meat.

4Sprinkle with onion soup mix.

5Bake at 225° for 2 1/2 hours.

6Stir mixture.

7Bake another hour. Blend in mushrooms.

8Add wine.
-
9Bake another hour.
-
10Serve with rice.
