- 1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1 can Eagle Brand milk
- 1/2 c. ReaLime juice
- few drops green food coloring (optional)
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/3 c. sugar
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In medium mixing bowl, beat egg yolks. Stir in Eagle Brand, ReaLime and food coloring, if desired.

3Pour into pie shell.

4In small mixer bowl, beat egg whites with cream of tartar until soft peaks form.

5Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff, but not dry.

6Spread on top of pie, sealing carefully to edge of shell.

7Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely.

8Chill thoroughly.
