  • 1 14 graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 5 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 (14 ounce) caneagle brand sweetened condensed milk
  • 12 cup freshly squeezed key lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons key lime zest, finely grated
  • 4 egg whites
  • 3 tablespoons sugar

Directions

    CRUST: In a bowl, mix graham crumbs, sugar and melted butter.

    Press into a 9-inch pan.

    FILLING: Using an electric mixer, mix the yolks, Eagle Brand, Key lime juice and zest, until thickened.

    Pour into the pie shell and refrigerate overnight until set.

    MERINGUE: Whisk eggs and sugar to a stiff peak.

    Spoon or pipe on the pie and bake in a preheated 350F oven for about 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
