  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 cup basmati rice (soaked overnight)
  • 1 12 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • some dried fruits (almond,raisins)

Directions

    Pour the milk in a boiling pan and bring to a boil then drain the rice and put it in the milk whisking it thorough out ,so that the rice does not stick together .

    Cook on medium heat for about 45 minute.

    Add sugar & cardamom powder to the mixture and put it in refrigerator for 4-5 hrs .

    Serve chilled & sprinkle dry fruits before serving.

    If the mixture becomes very thick then add little milk.
