  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 None red onion, thiny sliced
  • 2 cups finely shredded red cabbage
  • 1 None apple, peeled, cored and grated
  • 1 pinch ground cloves
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 pkg (14 oz) kielbasa, cut into bun-size lengths and halved lengthwise
  • 4 None submarine rolls, split
  • 2 cups baby spinach leaves
  • None None Coarse grain mustard, to serve

Directions

    Heat oil in a large skillet on medium heat. Saute onion 4-5 mins, until tender. Add cabbage and cook 2-3 mins, until wilted. Stir in apple and cloves; cook a further 5 mins.

    Add vinegar and sugar. Season to taste; cook a further 3-4 mins.

    Meanwhile, heat a grill pan or skillet on high heat. Spray sausages with no stick cooking spray. Cook 2-3 mins, turning, until browned and heated through.

    Fill rolls with cabbage mixture, spinach and sausage. Serve with mustard.
