- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 3 kiwis, peeled and roughly chopped
- 2 limes, juiced
- 8 cups ice
Directions

1Bring sugar and water to a boil in a small saucepot over medium-high heat.

2Cook until sugar is dissolved and liquid is slightly reduced, about 5 minutes.

3Remove from heat and cool.

4Transfer to a blender, add the kiwi and puree until smooth.

5Pour into a pitcher and stir in lime juice.

6Keep cool.

7Finely shave ice in a food processor and divide among 4 cups.

8Pour kiwi mixture over ice and serve immediately.
