  • 6 peeled and diced potatoes
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 1/4 c. chicken bouillon
  • 1 c. celery, chopped
  • 1/8 Tbsp. chives
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 5 c. water
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk or 1/2 c. cream

    Put all ingredients except milk and chives in a kettle and cook until tender. Add milk and chives and bring to a boil. Add Knoepla, then reduce heat to simmer for 10 minutes.
