  • 1/2 gal. vanilla or strawberry ice cream, softened
  • 32 Oreo cookies, crushed with dough roller
  • 1/4 c. melted butter
  • 1 pkg. milk chocolate Pillsbury frosting mix, prepared according to pkg.
  • 1 large carton Cool Whip, at room temperature
  • 1 small pkg. slivered almonds

Directions

    Make sure ice cream is softened.

    Mix 27 crushed Oreo cookies with 1/4 cup melted butter.

    Press into the bottom of a 9 x 13 x 2-inch Pyrex dish.

    Pour ice cream over cookies.

    Place in freezer and re-freeze.
