- 4 ounces currants
- 4 ounces plain flour
- 4 ounces desiccated coconut
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add all remaining ingredients and stir until smooth.

3With a teaspoon, place dots of dough on a well-greased baking sheet.

4Do not place cookies too close, as they spread while baking.

5Bake in a fairly hot oven (400°F, 200°C, GM 6) for 10 minutes until golden brown.

6Leave to cool on baking sheet for a few minutes before removing.
