Ingredients

  • 3 qt. popped corn
  • 1/2 c. pecans or roasted peanuts
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 c. corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Place popcorn and nuts in a greased jellyroll pan.

    Melt butter and sugar with syrup and salt.

    Bring to a boil for 5 minutes.

    Do not stir.

    Remove from heat.

    Stir in soda and vanilla.

    Pour mixture over popcorn.

    Stir until coated.

    Bake at 300° for 30 minutes, stirring often after 15 minutes.

    Cool and break.
