  • 34 cup unpopped popcorn
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 12 cup corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 12 teaspoon baking soda

    Pop popcorn.

    Keep popcorn warm in 200 degree oven.

    Melt butter.

    Stir in brown sugar and salt.

    Bring to boil, stirring constantly.

    Boil without stirring for 5 minutes.

    Stir in baking soda and vanilla.

    Pour over popcorn and stir well.

    Turn into two cookie sheets.

    Bake at 250 degrees for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
