  • 2 strawberry slices
  • 1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
  • Ice
  • 2 ounces blanco tequila
  • 1 ounce amaro (bittersweet Italian liqueur)
  • 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 ounces chilled rose Champagne
  • 1 edible pansy (optional)

Directions

    In a cocktail shaker, muddle the strawberry slices with the Simple Syrup.

    Add ice and the tequila, amaro and lemon juice and shake well.

    Strain into a white wine glass, top with the Champagne and garnish with the pansy.
