Ingredients: vegetable oil (in deep fryer); 2 large eggs; 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil; 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar; 1 tsp. baking powder; 1/4 tsp. salt; 1/2 c. milk; 1 1/3 c. all-purpose flour; confectioners sugar

1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
confectioners sugar

Directions

Heat oil to 375°.

Mix all ingredients, except confectioners sugar.

Select funnel with 1/2-inch opening in small end. Swirl batter into hot oil, starting in center and working outward to make 6-inch lacy spiral.

Fry 1 to 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towel. Can keep warm in 200° oven. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
