- 1 c. butter, softened
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. water
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar in bowl until light and fluffy.

2Add water and vanilla.

3Stir in flour and pecans.

4Chill, tightly covered, for 4 hours.

5Shape into ladyfingers.

6Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

7Bake at 325° for 20 minutes.

8Remove from pan; cool slightly on wire rack.

9Roll in confectioners sugar.

10Yield:
