- 4 Lamb shanks
- seasoned flour (salt, pepper, and garlic.
- Sauce:
- 2 tbls. balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbls. honey
- 2 tbls. fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 each cinnamon, allspice, and cloves
- variety of dried fruits
Directions

1Roll lamb shanks in seasoned flour. Place in greased roaster, cover and bake at 200 degrees for 6 hours. Can be done a day ahead.

2Remove shanks from oven and drain any fat, cover with the sauce and return to oven for 30 to 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
