  • 2 lbs lamb stew w bone
  • 1 lb white onions
  • 7 carrots cut into one inch slices
  • 7 turnips cubed
  • 4 oz mushrooms sliced in half
  • 1/2 lb fresh green beans
  • 2 tbs tomato paste
  • 1 1/2 c beef broth
  • 3/4 c sherry
  • 2 tbs dill weed
  • 2 tbs flour

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Brown lamb. Place in casserole.

    Saute vegetables. Stir in tomato paste and flour. Add broth and wine. Cook stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Combine with lamb.

    Bake 1.5 hours.
