- 1 Tbsp. basil
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes (2 c.)
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 10 oz. lasagna or wide noodles
- 2 (12 oz.) cartons large curd cottage cheese (3 c.) or 1 c. Italian cheese
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced thin
Directions

1Brown meat slowly, spoon off excess fat.

2Add next 6 ingredients to meat.

3Simmer, uncovered, until thick, about 45 minutes to an hour, stirring occasionally.

4Cook noodles in boiling water until tender.
