- 2 lb. ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 tsp. garlic
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 2 c. water
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tsp. minced parsley
- 1 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 pkg. lasagna noodles
- 2 pkg. Mozzarella cheese
- 1 box cottage cheese
- 1 tsp. red pepper
- 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Brown meat in oil in large frying pan over medium heat, stirring constantly.

2Add garlic, tomato paste, water, onion, bay leaves, parsley, salt and pepper; mix well and cover.

3Simmer 1 hour over low heat.

4Grease 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.

5Cover bottom with 1/3 cooked noodles.

6Put on 1/3 cooked noodles, than 1/3 cooked sauce, then Mozzarella cheese and cottage cheese. Repeat in layers until used up.

7Bake at 375°, until Parmesan cheese on top melts, for 30 minutes.
