- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 2 cans tomato sauce
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 12 oz. water
- 1 small onion, chopped fine
- 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
- salt and pepper to taste
- 8 oz. cottage cheese
- 12 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- Parmesan cheese
- 10 oz. sliced Mozzarella cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
Directions

1Brown hamburger and onion; drain grease off.

2Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Simmer for 30 minutes.

3Cook noodles as directed on package and drain.

4In a 9 x 13-inch dish, cover bottom with a layer of sauce. Layer with noodles, sauce, cottage cheese, 1/2 of the shredded Mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese.

5Repeat with another layer of same.

6For last layer, add sauce and slices of Mozzarella cheese to cover top.

7Insert toothpicks and cover with foil.

8Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
