- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
- 28 oz. tomato paste
- 1/2 c. mushroom stems and pieces with liquid
- 1 tsp. Accent
- 1 (18 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 2 c. Ricotta cheese or cottage cheese
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. Mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp. oregano leaves
- 1 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp. basil leaves
- 1/4 tsp. rosemary
Directions

1Brown ground beef with onion and green pepper in a large saucepan.

2Add tomato paste, mushrooms, garlic and spices. Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3Cook noodles; rinse and drain.

4Place 1/3 of sauce in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.

5Top with crisscross layer of half the noodles. Spread with cottage cheese over noodles.

6Add 1/2 of remaining sauce.

7Top with 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese.

8Add remaining noodles with 1 cup Ricotta cheese, remaining sauce, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and 1 cup Mozzarella cheese.

9Bake in a 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
