Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. sausage
  • 1 large onion
  • grated carrot
  • 12 oz. can tomato paste
  • 1/4 c. olive oil
  • 1/4 c. parsley
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • water
  • 1 pt. tomato
  • small cottage cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 3 pkg. sliced Mozzarella cheese

Directions

    Cook and drain first 3 ingredients, then add next 8 ingredients and simmer for 1 hour on low.

    Mix cottage cheese and 1 egg together.

    Then layer noodles, sauce and cottage cheese. Layer again.

    Cook 45 minutes at 350°.
