Ingredients
- 1/4 c. salad oil
- 2 cloves finely chopped garlic
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can tomatoes
- 2-6 oz. cans tomato paste
- 1 lb. lasagna noodles
- 2 c. cottage cheese
- 1 lb. Mozzarella, sliced
- 1 1/2 c. Parmesan
Directions

1Heat oil; add onion, garlic and beef.

2Lightly brown meat-stir occasionally.

3Add tomato paste, seasonings and tomatoes.

4Cover and cook over low heat approximately 1 hour. Stir occasionally.

5Alternate layers of cooked, drained lasagna, meat sauce, cottage cheese, Mozzarella slices, and Parmesan. Repeat and end with Parmesan.

6Bake in large Pyrex dish, approximately 13x9x2.

7Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
