- 1 lb. Italian sausage
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. whole basil
- 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 10 oz. lasagna noodles
- 3 eggs
- 3 c. fresh Ricotta or cottage cheese
- 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced thin
Directions

1Brown meat slowly; spoon off fat.

2Add next 5 ingredients. Simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3Cook noodles in boiling water until tender.

4Drain and rinse.

5Beat eggs; add remaining ingredients (except the cheese).

6Layer half the noodles in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish; spread with half the Ricotta mixture, then half the meat sauce and then half the Mozzarella.

7Repeat, using the rest of the noodles, mixtures and cheese.

8Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.

9Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
