Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. tomato paste
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 3 or 4 drops Worcestershire
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • grated Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 c. tomato puree
  • 1 3/4 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • dash of pepper
  • 6 1/2 oz. lasagna noodles (uncooked)

Directions

    Season meat with salt, pepper and onion.

    Cook until brown and drain.

    Combine all other ingredients and blend in meat mixture. Grease casserole dish or 9 1/2 x 11-inch pan.

    Put a layer of sauce, then noodles.

    Repeat until gone.

    Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350° for 1 hour.

    Freezes well.
