Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lb. ground pork sausage
  • 1 clove chopped garlic
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 chopped celery
  • 12 oz. can tomato paste
  • 3 c. water
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp sage
  • 1 lb. lasagna noodles
  • 1/2 lb. shredded mozzarella cheese (more is better)

    Brown meat together.

    Place in a large kettle (about 4 quart size), than brown garlic, onions, and celery until tender and add to the meat, add tomato paste, water and seasonings.

    Blend well, cover and simmer 1 hour.

    Drain off fat when done.
