Ingredients

  • 2 cans spaghetti seasoning (McCormick)
  • 1 lb. lasagna
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • ground beef
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 3/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 lb. Ricotta or cottage cheese
  • grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Brown in skillet, ground beef, olive oil, parsley, onion and garlic.

    Add tomato paste, water, salt and pepper; simmer for 1/2 hour or more.

    Add lasagna noodles to 6 quarts of salted, boiling water; cook for 15 to 30 minutes, stirring constantly.

    Drain. Mix eggs and Ricotta cheese.

    Arrange in a baking dish with lasagna first, meat sauce, Mozzarella cheese and cottage cheese. Bake at 375° for 20 minutes.
