- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. hot fat
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1/2 lb. lasagne noodles
- 3/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- 3/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 can or 2 1/2 c. tomatoes
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. minced parsley
- 1 carton cottage cheese
Directions

1Brown beef and garlic in hot fat.

2Add tomatoes and seasoning.

3Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

4Heat oven to 350°. Meanwhile, cook lasagne noodles.

5Drain noodles.

6In a 13 x 9-inch oblong baking dish, alternate layers of noodles, sauce, grated cheeses and cottage cheese, topping with cottage cheese.

7Bake 20 to 30 minutes.

8Makes 6 to 8 servings.
