Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lb. hot or sweet sausage
  • 1 box lasagne noodles
  • tomato sauce (made or jar)
  • 1 jar sweet fried peppers
  • 1 container skim Ricotta
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 large can sliced mushrooms
  • Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Bring water to boil in large pot.

    Cook according to box directions.

    When done, transfer cooked noodles to large bowl of ice water.

    While noodles are cooking, cook ground beef until done.

    Drain off fat.

    Cook sausage (remove skin) until done and crumbly.

    Open mushroom can and drain.

    Open fried sweet peppers and drain.

    Mix Ricotta with 1 egg.
