Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. ground pork
  • 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. basil leaves
  • 1 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
  • 3 (4 oz. each) pkg. Mozzarella cheese
  • 12 oz. lasagne noodles, cooked and drained

    Brown meat in very large skillet. Drain.

    Add tomatoes (break up with fork).

    Add tomato paste and spices.

    Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes.

    Heat oven to 350°.

    Make layers of noodles, meat sauce and Mozzarella cheese.

    Bake, uncovered, 45 minutes.

    Let stand 15 minutes before cutting to serve.
