- 8 oz. lasagne noodles
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 c. onions, chopped
- 6 oz. tomato paste
- 8 oz. tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 2 c. cottage cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 c. Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 c. mushrooms
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1 tsp. parsley
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Brown beef; add tomato paste, tomato sauce, mushrooms, onions, garlic, basil, parsley, salt, oregano, pepper and water.

2Simmer 1 hour.

3Cook lasagne noodles.

4Prepare filling by combining cottage cheese, egg, salt and pepper in a bowl.

5Alternate layers of lasagne noodles, sauce, cottage cheese and cheese in a 13 x 9-inch pan (3 layers high).

6Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

7Remove and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

8Cool 10 minutes and serve.
