  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 c. chopped onions
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce with cheese
  • 1(8 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 (5 3/4 oz.) can mushroom steak sauce
  • 12 oz. small curd cottage cheese
  • 8 oz. shredded Mozzarella or Jack cheese
  • 1/2 lb. pork sausage
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. parsley flakes
  • pepper
  • 1 tsp. milk
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 4 oz. lasagne noodles

Directions

    Brown meats, onion and garlic in large skillet.

    Stir in salt, pepper, oregano and parsley.

    Add tomato sauce, paste, steak sauce and mushrooms.

    Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.

    Cook noodles according to package directions; drain.

    Mix cottage cheese, egg and milk together.

    Alternate layers of noodles (2 layers), cottage cheese mixture, sauce mix and shredded cheese in 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
