Lavender Punch

Ingredients

  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. whole cloves
  • 1 (3-inch) stick cinnamon
  • 3 Tbsp. fresh lavender flowers or dried lavender
  • 1 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade or limeade
  • 2 c. bottled purple grape juice
  • 1 lime, sliced
  • 1 liter ginger ale

    In covered saucepan, heat water, cinnamon and cloves to boiling.

    Simmer for five minutes.

    Remove from heat.

    Add lavender.

    Cover; let stand 10 minutes.

    Strain and discard particles.

    Stir limeade into brew and add grape juice.

    Cover and refrigerate.

    Just before serving, stir in ginger ale and lime slices.
