Layered Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 head lettuce
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1 pkg. frozen peas
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 10 slices bacon, fried and crumbled or bacon bits

Directions

    Put chopped lettuce in large bowl.

    Add a layer of all peas. Combine onion, celery and green pepper and let that be your next layer.

    Spread on mayonnaise and sprinkle with sugar.

    Add a layer of cheese and put crumbled bacon on top.

    Cover and let refrigerate for at least 8 hours.

    Toss just before serving.
