  • 1 can (16 oz.) refried beans
  • 1 can (16 oz.) pinto beans, drained
  • 1 pkg. (1-1/4 oz.) taco seasoning mix
  • 3 Tbsp. cayenne pepper sauce
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 container (16 oz.) sour cream
  • 1-1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded Cheddar
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 small avocado, peeled, chopped and tossed in 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • Tortilla chips

Directions

    Combine refried beans, drained pinto beans, taco seasoning mix, pepper sauce and water in medium skillet.

    Simmer 10 minutes, stirring often.

    Cool slightly.

    Spread bean mixture onto large platter.

    Spoon sour cream evenly over beans and sprinkle with cheese.

    Garnish with tomato and avocado.

    Chill 1 hour.
