- 3 c. cooked squash (yellow or zucchini), drained
- 2 Tbsp. grated onion, gently sauteed
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. grated cheese
- salt
- cracked or freshly ground pepper
- butter
Directions

1Combine onion and squash.

2Salt and pepper to taste.

3Add beaten egg and milk.

4Put half of squash mixture in casserole. Sprinkle half of crumbs and half of cheese over.

5Add rest of squash mixture, rest of crumbs and rest of cheese.

6Dot with butter.

7Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
